GRE Sample Tutoring Plan – 24 Hours
As seen in:
Please note: This sample GRE tutoring plan was constructed for a past student looking for help on a wide cross-section of topics. Your personal plan will be constructed based on diagnostic results and/or past test scores, your input, and the expertise of our academic team.
This student completed our 24-hour tutoring plan over the course of 14 weeks, meeting once a week for 2 hours at a time (and completing significant homework between sessions).
After Tutoring: After lessons are complete you still have 4 practice tests that you can use at your discretion. A practice test per week is advisable though no closer than 4 days before the actual exam. Vocabulary study should continue on a daily basis with study chunks of 15-20 minutes multiple times a day. General practice is advisable using the paper tests in the Official Guide. Students should continue to write essays and send to their tutors for grading and comments. In the week before the test, taper off study time and focus more on areas of strength. This will help boost confidence and increase speed.
Students should not study the day before the test. This time is best served resting up for the exam.
