GRE Sample Study Plan – 40 Hours
As seen in:
Please note: This sample GRE tutoring plan was constructed for a past student looking for help on a wide cross-section of topics. Your personal plan will be constructed based on diagnostic results and/or past test scores, your input, and the expertise of our academic team.
After Tutoring: In the weeks before the test, you should continue to do as much mixed practice as possible under timed conditions to develop your test-day decision making. Use Model Test 2 in Barrons as Practice Test 2 in the Official Guide. Continue to work through the vocabulary list in Barrons. You also have one more practice test to take. Take it no closer than one week before the test. As you approach the test, begin to taper down your studying and focus more on strong areas in order to improve speed and build confidence. Continue to send essays to your instructor for grading and commentary. Do not study the night before the test. You are better served getting your rest.
