This webinar session was run by Bryan Schnedeker, Next Step’s VP of MCAT Content and Tutoring as well as one of our course instructors. The MCAT can be a difficult exam to prep for and there is an abundance of information you will need to retain. During this session, Bryan discussed techniques for memorizing MCAT science. Students preparing to take the MCAT have spent years in an academic setting, so many of the techniques introduced will be familiar to you, but Bryan specifies how each can be used specifically for MCAT study. He also discusses how you can build your Biochemistry knowledge, since this is most often the science that MCAT-takers struggle with.
Unlike our class lesson videos, the Office Hours sessions are not simply a lecture. These office hours are intended to be interactive. These sessions will be conducted by one of our senior MCAT experts and will focus on specific MCAT content, but students will have the ability to ask and answer questions on mic. If you have a question, you can simply type it into the chat box or click the “raise your hand” button and ask.
Our goal at Next Step is to make sure that you have the resources needed to prepare for the MCAT and your future career. This public office hour session is a sampling of what our course students have access to on a regular basis. If you’re interested in our online MCAT course, click here. We also have several practice test bundles, including a free practice bundle, as well as one-on-one MCAT tutoring services. If you utilize our tutoring services or enroll in our course, you will receive customized plans that work at your pace and focus on the areas where you need to improve the most. What works for some may not work for all, so we are doing away with the cookie cutter approach and making sure that your study plan works for you.
